Employee ID badges serve as a multi purpose tool. You can use it as an identity card, as a security pass, as a punch card for attendance and time clocking etc.
And if you think that it involves a lot of hassle in setting up an employee ID badges making system, you’re mistaken. All you need to do is order a product like the Ezy employee ID badges making system. Systems like these are compact and all inclusive. All you need to do is unpack it, install the CD in your CD ROM, plug the printer and camera follow the instructions. It’s as simple as that. Your badging system is up and running.
Once printed and sealed with a hologram, if you take efforts to further slip the employee ID badges and seal it with sturdy lamination or stiff plastic jackets they can work or a real long time. Bar codes, if at all are encrypted last for a few years easily.

There are several issues which one to mind when one speaks of an employee ID badges protocol and its utility. Not only do the employee ID badges ensure security and safety of your workspace, it also helps protect employee and assets, which is very essential. An employee photo identification badge is in fact a small investment towards a risk free, secure office environment.
Lets put it this way. Employee ID badges serves as a unique identification as a result of which you can immediately spot an employee from a non employee. The latter could be a prankster, a saboteur who intends harm to your establishment.
And this is precisely the reason why a sensitive piece of assemblage like this cannot be simply sourced from a vendor. Ask these questions to yourself. How sure are you about the integrity of the vendor to whom you are going to outsource this chore? How sure are you that for an extra premium he will not sell out your unique design, hologram or bar codes to your competition? Security is not a matter which one should take lightly, whether it’s a small establishment or a highly sensitive industry you are working in.
Often there are issues in the mind of an employees vis a vis employee ID badges. While the main aim of employee ID badges is to make the office environment safe and secure, there are several other advantages, which require mention. For example employee ID badges go a long way in streamlining organizations. If you include access as per seniority and rank option, you can cut down on aimless meanderings in your office space, which often result in a wasting of man-hours. And employee ID badges also inculcate a spirit of discipline and belonging to an organization, in the same way a uniform does.
This apart, there are other tangible benefits which the employee ID badges making system presents?

For those of you, who still are not convinced about the utility of employee ID badges, here an excerpt from a news story from Swindon, which should serve as a wake up call. This incident is enough to realize how easy it is to be gypped in your own work haven, which you tend to consider secure.
Thieves dressed as medics stole from hospital
By Gazette Reporter
Thieves disguised themselves as medics before raiding staff lockers at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon.
The two men, who were smartly dressed in shirts and ties, broke into four staff lockers in the theatre staff changing room and swiped wallets, mobile phones, cash and credit cards.
The credit cards were then used to steal money from the bank accounts of the staff involved.
A memo circulated to staff by Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust says the men were posing as medics and were extremely plausible as they duped their way past security.
The trust says that although they did not possess trust ID badges, they appeared to be wearing NHS coloured lanyards around their necks.
And that has prompted the hospital’s security team to issue a high priority action plan to deter the thieves from trying their luck again.
The memo sent out to trust employees has called on all workers to wear ID badges at all times, to challenge all people not wearing a relevant ID badge and to not allow people to “tailgate” members of staff.

You really do not need state of the art surveillance or gadgetry to keep your premise secured. All you need is an employee ID badges to begin with.
Over the years, employee ID badges have evolved and now comes in various forms.
The most basic form of employee ID badges are nametags, which have been in practice for the last several years. All you need is employee ID badges on which you can emboss a unique design and a hologram to make it difficult to duplicate. The card can be slipped inside a thick plastic jacket to ensure that you can use it several times over.
This technique can be made more effective by using self-expiring employee ID badges, which can be easily spotted thanks to a dye, which automatically generates on the card once a specific time block has elapsed.
You can even supplement your employee ID badges with other utilities like a punch clocks and access systems to further enhance the levels of security in your office space.
When it comes to employee ID badges making systems, several options open up before you. But as long as the employee ID badges manufacturing system you use is reliable, there is nothing much to worry about. It would be ideal for you to possess a system rather than to have such sensitive work outsourced. Here too, you are not short on options. Several easy to use employee ID badges manufacturing systems have hit the market, where all you really need to do is install the software, plug in the printer and start feeling secure.

The concept of employee ID badges protocol is catching up by the day, thanks to an increasing amount of awareness amongst the people in general on issues related to safety and security. But it would be a misconception to assume that closed or confined office spaces are the only areas where an employee ID badge is popular.
The handy and amazingly cost-effective nature of the product has resulted in it being used for a huge number of amazingly diverse utility projects that, the very future of the employee ID badges appears very bright.

Take for example, the case of Enid Public school in distant Oklahoma, USA. For a long the time school had been security related issues as gangs from the neighbourhood, who used to infiltrate into the school, by mixing up with the students and create a ruckus in the campus.
The school after tolerating this for a while consulted a security agency, which suggested the use of employee ID badges protocol. The school opted for it and started issuing badges to its pupils. Random inspection of these badges were initiated, as a result of which the notorious elements were weeded out, over a short period of time. Not only was the ‘on the edge’ environment in the school toned down, students who used to petrified by the presence of gangs in their premise became more focused on the one thing they had been coming to school for; studies, play and a healthy fun.

Why schools alone, the practicality of employee ID badges was even realised by Department of Corrections in Washington. When realization struck them, that convicts once out of prison had a difficult time in obtaining necessities like a drivers licence or a social security card, because in several cases they had lost their original documents, they came upon this brainwave.
The Department of Corrections started issuing them with employee ID badges endorsed by the DoC itself. This initiative helped the ex convicts to easily process their other documentation, for which they had to struggle for months earlier.

The El Paso police too have realized the importance of employee ID badges making systems. They had come across several cases where imposters impersonating police officers had gypped several residents in the area. Alongwith the employee ID badges making system, the police department stared embossing one unique number each on these cards. The citizens can now confirm via hotline about the identity of the policemen who has come visiting, making the system foolproof.
The health fraternity is only too aware of the merits of using employee ID badges making systems. In a system where response time is of every bit of importance and trust imperative, the Armstrong County in Pennsylvania has started issuing standardized employee ID badges to all its policemen as well as first aids responders, to eliminate the chances of impersonation.
Employee ID badges making systems are the way ahead. The system has come a long way in an almost evolutionary mode. Research over a period of years has turned the humble nametag into a immensely practical device, which stands between harm and your workspace.

Nowadays you can even purchase pre-assembled sets of these ‘magic’ badges, where all you need to do for the purpose of activation, is to pull out the strip separating the two sheets together and voila, you have the self expiring badge springing into action.

This simple, but effective employee ID badges making system comes in several variations. You can pick one with a half-day option, when the badge expires in half a workday or choose one with a week’s expiry range or one that even lasts a month.

Another school of thought involves the use of unique holograms and printing ink on the employee ID badges, which ensures that duplication is very difficult. You can purchase the entire employee ID badges manufacturing kit or order it online.
While sophisticated Biometric system is touted as the next big thing in visitor and employee management, experts in the field claim that such a step is still several years away and would continue to be a costly affair for a long time to come.
Until then employee ID badges making would still be the cheapest and one of the most efficient way out.

You cannot blame technology for outrunning you every now and then in every sphere.
Predictably technology has not spared the field of employee ID badges too.
Gone are the days of those crumply ledgers and registers with carefully lined columns, which used to read Name, Date, Times, Purpose, Signature etc. Visitor management has reached a whole new level of sophistication.

Thanks to technological progress made in the field of employee ID badges making which has really revolutionized the entire system keeping in tune with the troubled times, which have made ‘safety’ and ‘security’ the buzzwords of our times.

The concept of a badge or a nametag, although has changed drastically over the years, the basic essence however has remained the same. So while you no longer have a tacky plastic jacket covering a small piece of paper with your name printed on it with a dot matrix printer you have several top of the line employee ID badges making techniques say for example the self expiring badges, which are a great way to control visitor access.
The technology is simple enough.

You get two sheets in the kit, which comes along when you order these self-expiring badges. What you need to do is stick the front end of the printed sheet down onto the other sheet, which has also been provided. This triggers the self-expiring badge into activation.

The trick is that the background sheet has set of stripes, which gets activated gradually over a pre-defined block of time. So if you have pinned these badges on a guest or say a trainee whose authorized visit at the workplace is to last only for one day, the security person after noting the changed color of the stripes on the badge, can easily identify the person as one who has overstayed his welcome.

The security of your firm and its assets, the safety of your employees is hinged on this system once it is in place and functioning. Hence it is of prime importance that the printing and designing equipment used for color coding of the badges or the equipment used by the vendor for manufacturing the holograms does not fall into foul hands of say your competitor, or someone who does not wish you well. Cause if it does and the vendor compromises on his integrity, it won’t be too difficult for a rival competitor to plant a mole in your set up. And that has an ominous ring to it.

On second thought it would be ideal if the equipment used to an manufacture employee ID badge is in your custody. There are several firms deliver employee ID badges manufacturing kit in a sealed package. There’s nothing much you have to do, except to slip the software installing Compact Disc in your CD ROM, plug in the camera and the printer. You can toggle the software for colours (for coding purposes), layouts for your manufacture employee ID badges along with incorporating other elements of design. Once the design and the text is finalized, all you need to do print the employee ID badges out.

And finally if you are really keen on investing money, do make sure you buy an employee ID badges manufacturing unit that has a photo option included. With a camera included, you automatically eliminate the element of impersonation. That too with the investment of just a small amount of additional capital.

Once you have decided on going out into the market to source, purchase and implement the employee ID badges project, there are several issues you need to factor in.
First of all, have you seriously evaluated the nature and level of security your company requires? Do you think that purchasing the works like fancy magnetic strips embossed on the employee ID badges is really necessary?
It’s like this.

If you own a company, lets say, that manufactures stationary products, you really need not scale such high levels of security consciousness. But say on the other hand, if you do own a firm, which manufactures financial instruments, then such an employee ID badges manufacturing system or an even more refined and sophisticated one, would be an absolute must.

Whether it is vegetables you are out to purchase in the market or a spanking new jumbo jet one would always scout around a bit before making a final choice.
When it comes to narrowing down on an employee ID badges system, it cannot be any different.

When it comes to employee ID badges system, there is no dearth of vendors in the market. But the trick is to narrow down on the right vendor. One of the essential characteristics the vendors must possess is an ability to be discreet.
Getting employee ID badges is not a trivial issue.

There is an even better way. You could use magnetic strips on employee ID badges to create security levels with access restrictions based on designations. Although a designed color code with an employee’s photo on it may look simplistic, it also has various advantages. The coded tag makes an employee automatically aware of the fact that he is tagged and is being monitored. Of course you can have other security measures in place too, say like a metal detector or close circuit television cameras, but color-coded employee ID badges printed through a reliable employee ID badges making system can help you to clear off basic security concerns. It’s cheaper an effective way out of it.
There is another approach to the employee ID badges issue especially when it comes to employees. Have you even wondered why the army, police even schools to an extent lay such a huge stress on uniforms?

A uniform without a doubt not only makes a people group look homogenous, it also adds a sense of discipline. Now you cannot have your employees wear uniforms, but something like an employee ID badges can definitely address the issue. Apart from

In these times, when security concerns are of prime importance, safe is simply not safe enough. And we aren’t talking about terror threats alone here. One of the most important threats faced by medium and large sized companies today is the fear of corporate espionage. Fear of your competitors spying on you, either through a planted employee in your organization or through other devious means like external surveillance.

Can you… can you really assure yourself that somewhere in that large, socially heterogeneous milieu that makes up for your office or industrial space there is someone who may just not be totally committed to you and your organization. If that’s the case isn’t it best that you create some sort of clearance levels for your employees?
There is no use fretting. Its time for you to do something about it don’t you think so, right boss? Get an employee ID badges manufacturing system in place.

A lot of professional office set-ups are known to function on a thoroughly ‘Need to Know’ basis and to exceedingly good effect. Its not discrimination that is the issue here. These are just the kind of precautions, which make a long way into making a successful business operation. The easiest way to facilitate and put into practice the ‘Need to Know’ philosophy is to restrict access. But then, how does one do it?

One of the most popular ways is to start implementing the employee ID badges protocol and then color-code them, with strategically devised levels of security. It not only helps to keep your environment secure, it also helps zero down the onus of responsibility on a smaller pool of people in case of an emergency like e.g. a theft, sabotage, etc. Say a theft occurs in one of the upper security levels, you automatically eliminate the lower level employees, who would have no access to this upper security level at all.
